Litigation Support

Our knowledge and experience of insurance and reinsurance both in the United States and Europe allows us to provide excellent support services to counsel whether or not they are experienced in this field.

The support we can provide includes the review of documents, interview of witnesses and attendance at both depositions and trials. We can also be relied upon to assist in the preparation of witnesses and the selection of expert witnesses.

Expert Witness

Certain of our staff are of sufficient experience and knowledge that they are able to act as expert witnesses for our insurance and reinsurance clients.

We find that this knowledge can also be of great assistance to counsel in the representation of their insurance and reinsurance clients.

Arbitration and Mediations

Certain of our staff because of their knowledge and experience are able to assist our clients by appearing as an Arbitrator. In addition our experience in the handling of claim settlements and coverage issues, allows us to act as a mediator where this type of dispute resolution is appropriate.

Commutation Negotiations

We act for reinsurance companies that wish to reduce their liabilities or eradicate the cost of running off old treaty obligations. We are willing to negotiate within previously agreed parameters in order to extinguish the long term liabilities that are now being faced.

Consulting Services

We are willing to assist clients in both the insurance and reinsurance industries with many of the problems they face. Because of our staffs' varied experience, we can work individually or with others in solving the problems which face our clients.

Reinsurance Recoveries

Many clients now find that even on their non-contentious ceded claims they have to wait an exceedingly long time to collect from their reinsurers. We are able to communicate with our client's reinsurers and obtain their owed funds by working in conjunction with or without the reinsurance broker.
